Stanfa takes 11th place in state backstroke final
Guilford?s Margo Stanfa finished in fifth place in the 100-yard backstroke consolation final of Saturday?s girls state swim and dive meet, ending up with an 11-place overall standing in the event. Stanfa, a senior who placed fourth in the backstroke finals at state last year, had a pretty good race in Friday?s preliminaries, but not good enough to boost her into the championship heat.
