Aljand Breaks All-Time NCAA Record in 50-Yard Freestyle; Record Disallowed After Pool Measurement
Texas A&M senior Triin Aljand lit the Student Rec Center Natatorium pool on fire on Friday night with what was thought to be the fastest 50-yard freestyle in NCAA history on the first of three days of action at the Art Adamson Invitational.

Newborn Baby Left in Trash Bag in Berwick Yard
BERWICK, COLUMBIA COUNTY- A newborn was found dumped in a trash bag on a man's lawn. Police are trying to find the mother that abandoned the newborn with the umbilical cord still attached. A Berwick man found that newborn abandoned in a plastic bag around 8:30 Saturday morning.
