Warthogs Renamed the Dash
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The team formerly known as the Winston-Salem Warthogs have been renamed the Dash. The name presumably is a reference to the team's hyphenated home city, Winston-Salem. Baseball Downtown, the team's marketing partner, announced five finalists earlier this year. The list was narrowed down from a reported 3,000 suggestions. The possible team names included:

Capitol: No dogs allowed
