Post-Ike skeeter spraying to start
The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) has announced that, weather permitting, targeted post-Hurricane Ike aerial spraying for mosquitoes may begin as early as Thursday night in parts of the following counties: Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Newton and Orange.

What's new at the Mackinaw Area Public Library
Recently arrived at the Mackinaw Area Public Library is the paperback edition of ?The Romanovs: The Final Chapter,? first published in 1995.
