Crisafulli returns to listen
On Magnetic Island for a few days of ?listening,? Deputy Mayor of the new Townsville City Council, David Crisafulli, told Magnetic Times he was back to fulfill a promise he made prior to being elected, to come over and meet as many Islanders as he could to hear of the issues most important to them.

Slippery marina path reopened

Shirtless firefighters unveil 2009 calendar in Coconut Grove
As a Miami-Dade firefighter, Peter Marrero is trained to douse fires. But on Aug. 14, a shirtless, chiseled Marrero was doing his best to spark flames as he and 15 other firemen from Marathon to Fort Myers promoted the 2009 South Florida Firefighters Calendar.
