Bowling in the hallway? Experiments with gummy bears and slinkys? If this doesn?t sound like your typical high school science class you?re right. But that?s exactly the point, said R.A. Long teacher Audra Degg. And that approach to making science fun is part of the reason she was recently named the High School Teacher of the Year by the Washington Science Teachers Association.
