UN's atomic agency calls for nuclear crop breeding to fight hunger
The UN's nuclear watchdog has called for more investments to revive nuclear crop breeding saying this could fight world hunger. The International Atomic Energy Agency said radiation produces improved plants with high yields that can survive in harsh climates or resist diseases.
