Vehicle-Caribou Collision on West Coast
It's not something you hear about often but Corner Brook RCMP are investigating a vehicle-caribou collision yesterday afternoon. Police say it happened on the Trans Canada Highway west of Corner Brook near Logger's School Road. RCMP say no one was injured but the caribou died at the scene.

Caribou Coffee's Q3 comparable coffeehouse sales down
Caribou Coffee Company has reported that comparable coffeehouse net sales decreased 4.7% for the third quarter ended September 28, 2008, compared with the same period of 2007.

Caribou Man Sentenced
BANGOR - A 44-year-old Caribou man is going to prison for his role in a marijuana distribution ring. Anthony Caparotta was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Bangor on Tuesday to 68 months in prison and fined $17,900. A jury convicted him in June of marijuana distribution charges.

Caribou same-store sales drop in Q3
