IOC rejects bid by Europe's free-to-air stations
GENEVA (AP) -- The IOC has rejected a bid by Europe's public broadcasters to buy rights to show the 2014 and 2016 Olympics, the European Broadcasting Union said Tuesday.

Top management takes 25% voluntary pay cut: Jet Air
The top management of the Jet Airways team has taken a voluntary pay cut of 25 per cent, effective December 8. Employees earning a gross salary of over Rs 75,000 a month will take a graduated wage cut over the next 12 months.

Former Brazilian international Edmundo got into trouble yesterday as he crashed his car into a man yesterday. The Vasco Da Gama striker's car crashed into a ladder where a worker was repairing an air conditioner, when he was leaving the club's training base at Sao Januario in a hurry.
