"Wish I Had An Angel" was the second single for Finnish symphonic power metal quintet Nightwish's fifth studio album Once (2004). The song features both Marco Hietala's and Tarja Turunen's vocals. The song is still part of the band's live set list, often used as the final song of the show.
Featured on the soundtrack of the film Alone in the Dark (2005), it became the group's most popular single in Europe and in the United States, next to Nemo. It made it onto two U.S. film soundtracks. In the United Kingdom, it was the band's biggest hit, reaching #60. [1]
The music video for it was directed by Uwe Boll, the director of Alone in the Dark.
