The name Gabrielle has been used for four tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean.

  • 1989's Hurricane Gabrielle - reached Category 4 and, though never striking land, caused large ocean swells on the East Coast of the United States that killed eight.
  • 1995's Tropical Storm Gabrielle - strengthened rapidly but formed too near to land to reach hurricane strength before making landfall at Mexico, causing minimal damage.
  • 2001's Hurricane Gabrielle - made landfall near Venice, Florida as a tropical storm, exited back into ocean and strengthened into a minimal hurricane, degeneratring south of Newfoundland. Drowned two and caused $115 million damage in Florida, and over six inches (152 mm) of rain in Newfoundland.
  • 2007's Tropical Storm Gabrielle - Subtropical storm that became a weak tropical storm. Made landfall in the Outer Banks of North Carolina,causing light damages.
