Burn Your Halo is an American/Finnish melodic death metal/thrash metal band currently located in Arizona.
History
Burn Your Halo was born in 2003 in the city of Mesa, Arizona. The very first incarnation of the band was named Halos Drop, only playing twice in the Phoenix area.
Turning the page to 2005, Halos Drop recorded a demo at Alien Autopsy Studios located in Chandler, Arizona with Trent Pittard (drummer for grind band Burn Victim).
At the time of recording the line-up consisted of the Finnish singer Antony Hämäläinen (Nightrage, ex-Slaves For Scores), Murph Malchow (ex-Defied) on guitar, Matti Johnsson (Dresden) on Guitars, Alex Zambrano (ex-Rising Pain) handeling Drums, and Danny Racines (Rising Pain) playing bass. At the same time Halos Drop became Burn Your Halo.
In the beginning of 2006, a line-up change occurred. Alex was replaced by Paul Guidry (ex-Slaves For Scores). With Paul, the band now had all the versatility and backbone they would ever need in a drummer.
Danny was also replaced by Sean Conkling, who happened to be the founder of Burning Blade Studios.
