As Blood Runs Black is an American Deathcore band from Los Angeles, California
Overview
The band formed in 2004 by original members Bijon Roybal, Richard Reyes, Louie Ruvalcaba, Kyle Hasenstaab, and Hector De Santiago. They are currently signed to Mediaskare Records and their debut album Allegiance achieved considerable success making the band a well-known metal act. Their influences range from melodic death metal to metalcore. During 2007's The Summer Slaughter Tour, drummer Hector De Santiago AKA "Leche" was kicked out of the band.
Ryan Thomas, formerly of the band The Serpent Son filled in as the drummer. Ryan left for Peoria, Illinois after a couple tours and Scott Walker filled in their drums for them. They recently finished the BrutaliTour 2007 along with Beneath the Massacre, Animosity, and The Faceless. They are recently finishing the Farewell to Allegiance tour along with Walls of Jericho, The Warriors , Born of Osiris, and Belay My Last. They were most recently headlining the "Metal For The Masses" National Tour with Winds of Plague, Stick to Your Guns and Veil of Maya. According to their MySpace display name, writing a follow up to Allegiance; a release date and track listing are currently unknown. The band recently came back from the United Kingdom on the Summer Slaughter UK Tour with Suicide Silence, The Berzerker, Abigail Williams, and Born of Osiris. Currently the band is scheduled to go on tour with Terror, The Ghost Inside, Blood Stands Still, and On Broken Wings.
