A Dark Halo is a high-tech metal band founded by Dave Lowmiller and Christopher M. Jones. With ADH, Lowmiller and Jones are creating a new breed of heavy music aimed at breaking down genre barriers and raising listener expectations.[neutrality disputed] Incorporating elements of American and European metal styles, industrial and gothic electronica, and a dose of Hollywood style orchestral arrangement. However, Lowmiller and Jones have always written material with listener accessibility in mind. They are most well-known for providing two songs for the soundtrack of WWE Day of Reckoning 2, "Burn It All" and "Beyond Recall." They currently have one album, Catalyst. They have recently been experiencing radio play on XM Radio's Channel 48-"The Squizz" station. A Dark Halo has recently done a live tour featuring drummer Jim "Jimbo" McAllister and guitarist Justin Corey. The tour was in San Marcos, California on November 16th, 2008.
