3. Subversionarts Native Kansas Citian for 30+ years, raised in Raytown, resided in Independence, Liberty, North Kansas City, currently in Westport/Hyde Park. Interests: Kansas City renaissance, KC barbeque, City Beautiful movement and its lasting impact on the coming green revolution, Kansas City's growing regional influence, balanced views of the rebirth of downtown and its impacts on surrounding entertainment districts and Ollie Gates' sales tax moratorium proposal. Looking to see much larger regional transportation proposals, like say a bullet train linking Lawrence, KC, St Louis, Chicago, and also maybe New Orleans and Denver.

9. americasroof Old and senile and wanting to dump my knowledge base on KC as the center of the world before I die (who else thinks KC's interurban is cool or can tell you what EMT really means--!!!). Don't even live in the city anymore but am considering a return since ill gotten gains elsewhere go further in the big Wheat Head field. Interests: transportation, civil war (Westport was actually biggest west (and probably most important) of the Mississippi believe it or not!), north of the river, history, hard facts about KC, agriculture heritage, Truman. Turn offs: the marauding "let's prune wikipedia" crowd who don't understand the joy of eventually connecting the dots even if the initial article is a stub or poorly written and unfortunately the excessive boosterists (whose closed mindedness reminded me of why I was glad at the time of leaving the city).

13. Moonraker0022 Has lived in Overland Park and now in Olathe! He cannot wait until KC gets the NHL, WNBA, and the NBA inside the Sprint Center, plus when he gets rich will provided Arrowhead with that rolling roof! And KC is perfect for the 2020 Summer Olympic Games!

19. CloversMallRat - Lived in Kansas City since birth. My family members also have, including my grandpa who worked at several local pizza joints in town and my dad who knows a lot about malls when he grew up, like when Metro North Mall was just opening and such. I luv KC!

I have photos from across the entire state and have read hundreds of sources about Missouri as well as enjoy exploring industrial areas, natural and historical locations across the state.
