"Rock Star" (sometimes subtitled "- Poser") is a song by funk/rock/hip hop group N*E*R*D from their 2001 album In Search Of....
The song, the second single off the album, performed better in the U.K. than their previous single "Lapdance," peaking at #15. It also became the group's first single to chart in Australia.
The song features in the film " Bringing Down the House" (2003).
The Jason Nevins Remix of the song has been featured in numerous video games such as Burnout Dominator, Burnout Paradise, Forza Motorsport 2 and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift trailer, while the Jason Nevins Club Blaster Edit has appeared in SSX3.
An edited version of it was also used as the theme song for NFL's 2002 game NFL Fever with Pharell's part replaced with the words NFL Fever
