After Korn's album Issues, Bassist Fieldy decided that his contributions to the band did not incorporate his love of hip-hop enough.[citation needed] So, during a down time between albums, Fieldy decided to make a rap album. All programming, production, and lyrics on the album are done by Fieldy, with friend Polar Bear helping out some.[specify] Jonathan Davis helps out on lyrics with "Just For Now".
